Moose Jaw third baseman Bobby Tackman was sensational. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Pacifica beat the Canucks, 7-3. Pacifica reliever Ed Brereton picked up the win, while Ricky Plasencia took the loss for Moose Jaw. The save went to Manuel Cardenas, number 2 for him.

Antonio Gonzalez had a big 2-run double for the Shamrocks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Pacifica leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Ricky Plasencia and swatted a double to center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shamrocks ahead, 4-1.

Gonzalez said his team "played with focus."

With the win, Pacifica boosts its record to 2-1.
