The Rock River Rats topped the Windsor Royals, 5-4, in TML AA action at The Rat Hole. The game was highlighted by the performance of Rock River pitcher Marlon Walton. Ethan Howell earned the save for Rock River. The win gives Rock River a record of 2-0.

The Rats got a big at-bat from shortstop Fabrice Fournier. For the game, Fournier went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Rock River a 3-2 lead.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Windsor manager Luis Hernández.
