Crocodiles Get One-Run Win at Kelowna
Crowds lined up early in front of Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2062 DOUBLE A season. On the mound was Danny Siwek for the visiting Louisiana Crocodiles and Javier Rios for the hometown Kelowna Rockets. In a spirited contest, the Crocodiles pulled out the win, defeating the Rockets by the score of 4-3. Especially impressive was Danny Siwek. Jason Mulford recorded his 1st save for Louisiana.

Fernando Arellano had a direct impact on the outcome. Arellano contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the seventh inning to put Louisiana up, 3-1.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Kelowna manager Ch'ak'iso Chaga.
