The Reno Raiders stopped the Fairfield Flash, 5-3, in 10 innings at House of Pain. The Raiders got a big game from Nelson Munuz, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Don Townend picked up the win. His record improves to 3-8. Scott White took the loss. The 4th-place Flash now sit at 71-68.

The decisive blow was delivered by Troy Tobias in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Scott White to win the game for Reno. The home crowd went nuts.

Tobias told a Reno Herald reporter that he felt "relieved" after the win.
