Canadians Pick Up 11-5 Win

Juan Parra did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Indian Wells Aeropostales from losing, 11-5, to the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park. Parra was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Dave Francisco, credited with the win, is now 15-14. He allowed 5 runs on 10 hits in 7.2 innings. Brad Harr, credited with the save, is now 3 for 5 in save opportunities.
Franklin Padilla hit a bases-clearing triple off Lenny Dykstra Jr. in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Canadians in front, 4-2. In addition to the triple, Padilla had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Padilla. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
The Canadians are now 76-86, while the Aeropostales fall to 90-72.
