Tornadoes Walk It Off for 15th Win of Season
The Kansas City Tornadoes faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Sandy Briseno, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Debris Field by a final score of 8-7. Briseno went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Bobby Milleville snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Eric Wilkinson suffered the loss. The loss drops Montreal to 16-12.

Kansas City got a knockout punch from Matthew Kolenda. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"What a buzz," said Kolenda after it was over.
