Led by Troy Tobias, the Reno Raiders defeated the Joplin Fireballs, 3-2. Tobias belted 2 home runs for the Raiders. The second-place Raiders have won 4 in a row.

Tobias had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 splitter from Paul Alexander, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Raiders a 3-2 lead. It was the 37th home run of the year for Tobias.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Tobias.
