The Calgary Hitmen defeated the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-5, at Mckinley Park. Gary Greenlaw, who is tied for 10th in the RAAA in hits with 144, was a standout performer for Calgary. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. Calgary reliever Ryan Wride was the winner. His record is now 2-5. Vitaliano Baldato took the loss. With the win, Calgary pushed its record to 79-59.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Greenlaw delivered big-time for Calgary, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Vitaliano Baldato. The game-changing hit put the Hitmen on top, 6-5.

"Gary is still learning," said Hitmen manager Brandon Ashley. "The sky's the limit for him."
