Calgary Hot Streak Continues with 2-0 Win
In a low-scoring contest between the Calgary Kodiaks and the Antioch Coal Miners, Bill Purcell, who leads the TAAA in quality starts with 17, proved to be the difference. The Calgary left-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Kodiaks win. This win makes it 7 in a row for Calgary.

The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from right fielder Angel Perez. For the game, Perez was 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 22nd double of the season gave Calgary a 1-0 lead.
