Buffalo Loss Diminishes Bye Performance
Though he had a stellar game, Josh Bye could not prevent his team, the Buffalo Bison, from losing, 8-6, to the Maple Marauders. Bye hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Paul Blevins closed it out for his 5th save. The slumping Bison have dropped 8 in a row.

Maple won the game in part because of Ruben Campos. The left fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Marauders ahead, 8-5. For the game, Campos had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager Jon Green.
