Mario Herra powered the State College Swallowtails to a win over the Albuquerque Cacti. The final score was 4-2. The State College center fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Ricardo Diaz was the winner. He's now 1-7. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jason McConville. The save went to Justin Weathersby, number 5 for him.

Herra had a timely hit for State College in the bottom of the sixth. With State College trailing 2-1, he turned a 2-2 splitter into a 2-run double. It was his 17th double of the season, making it 3-2, State College.

Albuquerque manager Randy Haynes said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

State College bumps their record to 67-88 with the win.
