The 6-4 Kansas City win over Buffalo was due in large part to Ramon Tapia. The Tornadoes right fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Biagio Sensini notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. The Tornadoes, now 23-5, have had a terrific start to the season.

Kansas City won the game in part because of Emeril Ferrario. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tornadoes ahead, 6-4. For the game, Ferrario had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
