The Minneapolis Freeze trumped the Billings Mustangs, 9-5, at The Ice Box. Minneapolis right fielder Henry Pitcher was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ken Aubin, the winning pitcher, improved to 9-5. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 6. Franklin Sprague collected his 15th save.

Jason Greene helped out the Minneapolis cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo home run. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 4 with a home run.

"I like winning," Greene told the Minneapolis Times. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."

The TML AAA Joe Torre Division-leading Freeze are 75-56.
