Behind the hitting of C.J. Parrish, the Cozumel Beaches stopped the Fort Worth Cats, 11-8. Parrish was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Beaches. Cozumel reliever Justin Bissey picked up the win, while Justin Everett took the loss for Fort Worth.

Johnny Otteson provided a timely hit. The Cozumel second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Beaches on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Losing feels worse," said Fort Worth manager Dudha Goli, "than winning feels good."
