Bumblebees Lose, 4-3, at The Death Star
|
The Pasadena Bumblebees and Detroit Death Stars provided some drama at The Death Star.
The Detroit Death Stars scored a 4-3 win versus the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Death Star. Detroit pitcher Danny Minor nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Detroit has now won 5 straight.
Had Mike Henry not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Henry hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Death Stars.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Detroit manager Pedro Gonzáles.
