Cozumel Wins, 4-3, Over Hitmen

The Calgary Hitmen could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Nick Stirling into a win. Instead, the Cozumel Beaches prevailed, 4-3. Stirling came in in relief and pitched to 18 batters. The win went to Pete Findling in relief, making him now 7-5. Eric Lewis took the loss for Calgary. The Beaches move to 67-83 with the win, while the Hitmen drop to 97-53.
Jason Bankhead was the walk-off hero for Cozumel. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Beaches center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Bankhead said.
