The Madison Muskies managed to get by the Albuquerque Cacti, 4-3, at The Corral. Madison pitcher David Austin set himself apart with his performance. Reliever Ron Landerman picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Caleb Brickhouse took the loss. Doug Decker picked up the save for Madison, his 7th of the year.

Madison took a 4-3 lead on Mike Williams's 15th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Williams hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Albuquerque pitcher Caleb Brickhouse visibly frustrated.

"David mixed and matched," said Madison manager Daniel Breuer.

Madison occupies 4th place in the TML AAA Cito Gaston League at 68-61.
