A good time was had by all at House of Pain, where the Amarillo Armadillos and Reno Raiders tangled.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Reno Raiders and the Amarillo Armadillos, Jonathan Hogle, who is tied for 5th in the TAAA with a 7.3 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Reno left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Picking up the save was Adam Sturm. He's now 14 for 20 in save chances.
The Raiders got a big at-bat from shortstop Tucker Yarde. For the game, Yarde went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Reno a 3-1 lead.
"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Hogle.
The Raiders now have a mark of 74-75.
