With center fielder Juan Mendez leading the charge, the Astoria Argonauts defeated the Billings Mustangs, 4-3, at Golden Fleece Park. Mendez went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. The losing streak for Billings has now reached 6 games.

Adam Champagne was the walk-off hero for Astoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Argonauts designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Mendez told the Astoria Times.
