Cacti Lose 6-3 Decision to Aeropostales
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales beat the Albuquerque Cacti, 6-3, at Stars Field. The Aeropostales got a fine performance from center fielder Juan Parra, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. With the victory, the Aeropostales record now stands at 81-68.
Felix Moran hit a 2-run double off Doug Castro in the bottom of the third, which put the Aeropostales in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Moran had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Moran.
