With Jordan Jones leading the charge, the Thunder Bay Black Bears defeated the Calgary Cowboys, 11-2. Jones was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Black Bears. The loss makes Calgary 84-64.

Chris Pagan had a big 2-run home run for the Black Bears in the bottom of the third inning. With Thunder Bay leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a curveball from Edgar Pedraza and swatted a home run to left. It was his 20th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Black Bears ahead, 3-0.

"When you don't put the pitches where they're supposed to be, they hit you hard," said Calgary skipper Thomas Hughes.
