Black Bears Bang Out 10-6 Win Versus Detroit

It was a good time at Edgbaston, where fans came to watch the Detroit Death Stars and Thunder Bay Black Bears get after it.
The Thunder Bay Black Bears topped the Detroit Death Stars, 10-6, in RCL AAA action at Edgbaston. The player of the game was Thunder Bay right fielder Taylor Ellis. Graeme Charge picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 9-11.
Joe Gravel had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Thunder Bay. With the bases loaded and the Black Bears leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Ellis said.
Thunder Bay occupies last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division at 54-88.
