The Milwaukee Millers got a sterling performance from center fielder Grant Bruett, but the Buffalo Bison still prevailed, 6-5. Bruett was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The Bison raised their record to 17-9.

Buffalo used a clutch at-bat from Landon Michaels to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bison ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Michaels told the Buffalo Gazette.
