Swallowtails Get Clutch Win Versus Tallahassee
The State College Swallowtails stopped the Tallahassee Captains, 4-3, at Stars Field. The Swallowtails got a big game from Jarrod Lombardi, who went 3 for 3 with 3 singles. State College reliever Justin Weathersby was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Yang-cheng Huang took the loss. State College has a record of 61-81, placing them last in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.

State College got a knockout punch from Matt Bowen. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said State College manager Afalku Coffie. "It's usually not just one thing."
