The Bowling Green Racers bested the Cozumel Beaches, 8-2, at Top of the Hill. Manny Alfonso was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The loss makes Cozumel 62-79.

Sadamu Teraoka had a big 2-run double for the Racers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Bowling Green trailing 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from David Harkey and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Racers ahead, 3-2.

"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Masato Takagi.
