12-11 Win for Fort Worth in Extras
The Fort Worth Cats and Bowling Green Racers needed extra innings at Top of the Hill to determine a winner.

The Fort Worth Cats found a way to sneak past the Bowling Green Racers, 12-11, in 11 innings. Fort Worth first baseman Ricky Pimienta, for one, had a standout performance. Nick Loyd claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 3-5. Ethan Pollard got credit for the save for Fort Worth. It was his 1st of the year.

Ramon Sandoval came through with a big-time hit for Fort Worth. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 12-11. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused Fort Worth manager Dudha Goli.

Fort Worth is now 62-59, Bowling Green 59-62.
