Led by Matt Markham, the Pasadena Bumblebees defeated the Madison Muskies, 5-2. Markham went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bumblebees. Pasadena occupies second place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division at 71-68.

Markham contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Pasadena in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Markham took a fastball from Brandon Hyde and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Bumblebees to leap in front, 3-1.

Markham told a Pasadena Herald reporter he was "pleased as punch" with the win.
