Behind the bravura of second baseman Gene Crowell, the Billings Mustangs topped the Madison Muskies by the score of 8-4. Crowell went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Mustangs. Jeremy Hillman earned the win. Barry Ledgerwood took the loss for Madison. The last-place Mustangs own a record of 42-78.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Mustangs grabbed the lead when Crowell hit his 3rd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple off Josh Caroleo made it 5-4, Billings.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Crowell said after the game.
