Minneapolis Freeze starter Mark Walsh turned in a sparkling performance against the Amarillo Armadillos, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Minneapolis leads the TML AAA Joe Torre Division by 3½ games.

Minneapolis used a clutch at-bat from Jason Norman to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Freeze ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"That's baseball," said Amarillo manager Tyler Bulman. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
