Aymeric Chili was locked in. The right-hander led the Thunder Bay Black Bears to a 7-4 win against the Bowling Green Racers at Edgbaston. The Black Bears bumped their record to 63-56 with this latest triumph.

The Black Bears got a big at-bat from first baseman Justin Mays. For the game, Mays went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Thunder Bay a 2-0 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Mays said.
