The Cairo Sphinx went down to defeat to Doug Castro and his Albuquerque teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Cacti. Castro went 7 innings to notch the win. Elijah Brown hit a 2-run triple off Harold Lane in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Cacti in front, 2-1. Brown had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Brown told the Albuquerque Today.
