Aeropostales Get Win, Extend Streak to 4

Indian Wells played host to Fairfield at the friendly confines of Stars Field.
The Indian Wells Aeropostales bested the Fairfield Flash, 7-3, at Stars Field. Manny Valencia was named player of the game. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Indian Wells starter Hachemon Hitomi was credited with the win after throwing 102 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 9-5.
The Aeropostales beat the Flash with some clutch hitting. The single by Miguel Pacheco in the bottom of the first is a good example. With two down, Pacheco gave his team the lead, 3-1, when he came through with the big hit.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Pacheco.
The second-place Aeropostales now have a 4-game winning streak.
