Great Day for Barker in Marshals Win
Getting a good performance from left fielder Art Barker, the San Jose Marshals defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-3. Barker went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Marshals. Justin Bolling earned the save, his 14th. The Marshals, at 79-55, lead by one game in their division.

Barker came through with some timely hitting for San Jose. With the score 2-1 in the top of the third and two down, Barker hit a first pitch circle change for a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season made it 4-1, San Jose.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Barker said after the game.
