Freeze Get Road Win, 6-4
|
Starting pitcher Felix Martinez pitched well enough to help the Minneapolis Freeze beat the Antioch Coal Miners by the score of 6-4. The Freeze have an impressive 91-45 record.
It could have been a different outcome for Minneapolis, had it not been for Jose Bonilla, the 23-year old first baseman . Bonilla contributed a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put Minneapolis up, 5-1.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Minneapolis manager Johnny Vallance.
