The Coal Mine was the site of a competitive game between the Antioch Coal Miners and Minneapolis Freeze.

The Minneapolis Freeze bested the Antioch Coal Miners, 4-2, at The Coal Mine. Chris Saipe was named player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Evan Sheldon earned his 9th save in 12 tries.

With Minneapolis leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Saipe hit a fastball from Chris Costello for a 2-run double. It was his 32nd double of the season and put the Freeze ahead, 3-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Saipe.

Minneapolis improves to 90-45 with the win. They lead their division by 10 games.
