Fairfield and Waimea got after it at The Wind Tunnel.

The Fairfield Flash grabbed a win, 7-1, over the Waimea Wind at The Wind Tunnel. Fairfield third baseman Thiongo Hali was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Bryan Stanford claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record stands at 5-1.

With one out in the top of the eighth, Roland McDonald had a game-changing hit. The Flash center fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Javy Villalobos, making the score 3-1, Fairfield.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling McDonald.
