Danny Sullivan was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Minneapolis Freeze. The right fielder was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Amarillo Armadillos. Today's win puts Amarillo at 51-65, while Minneapolis falls to 56-60.

Amarillo took a 6-4 lead on Adam Bergeron's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Bergeron hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Minneapolis pitcher Matt Jones visibly frustrated.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Sullivan told the Amarillo News.
