The Pasadena Bumblebees wiggled past the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-6, at The Hole. The win was highlighted by the performance of Pasadena pitcher Jim Rankin. With the win, Pasadena has a record of 67-67. Amarillo falls to 74-62.

The Bumblebees got a clutch hit from right fielder Mark Lloyd. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bumblebees.
