Spirited fans greeted the Amarillo Armadillos for their clash with the Minneapolis Freeze.

Getting offensive support from Jason Greene, the Minneapolis Freeze topped the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-2. Greene was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Freeze. Minneapolis sits in 4th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division at 56-59.

Manuel Cuebas had a big bases-clearing double for the Freeze in the top of the fifth inning. With Minneapolis leading 4-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Joseph Colombi and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Freeze ahead, 7-2.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Minneapolis skipper Ben Jeffcoat.
