Reno beat Calgary at House of Pain, escaping with a 6-5 win in 10 innings. The win in large part was due to shortstop Pete May. He went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. The victory gives Reno a record of 69-65.

The Raiders got a clutch hit from third baseman George Tufts. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Raiders.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Tufts.
