In a low-scoring tilt between the Cozumel Beaches and the Albuquerque Cacti, 23-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Andrews was the difference-maker. The Cozumel right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. In 6 innings, Andrews surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Pete Findling earned his 26th save, after closing out the game.

Cozumel took a 1-0 lead on Reilly Snow's 17th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Snow hit in the top of the seventh, left Albuquerque pitcher Jared Mix visibly frustrated.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Randy Haynes.

Cozumel has a record of 59-73, placing them last in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.
