Francisco Valdez powered the Quebec Armada to a win over the Chicago Eclipse. The final score was 5-3. The Quebec third baseman was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Chicago drops to 19-11.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Quebec trailing 3-2, Valdez jumped on a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Jerry Bamberg and hit a 3-run home run to left. With one swing, the Armada had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Valdez.
