Bye Lifts Bison to 13-9 Win
The Buffalo Bison dumped the San Francisco Earthquakes, 13-9, in large part due to third baseman Josh Bye. On the day, Bye went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for the Bison. Reliever Caleb Whitson picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Josh Christie took the loss. With the win, Buffalo is 12-13.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Bye delivered big-time for Buffalo, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Josh Christie. The game-changing hit put the Bison on top, 13-9.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Bye. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
