The home team was supported by a raucous crowd at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza.
The Indianapolis Ambition defeated the Peoria Caterpillars by the score of 7-4. Chris Berry starred for Indianapolis, going 2-for-4 with 2 home runs. The third-place Ambition hiked their record to 65-65.
Left Fielder Nick Schroeder made an impact for Indianapolis, when he swatted a 2-run double off Justin Price in the bottom of the first. For the contest, Schroeder went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs.
"No complaints from me," said Ambition manager Zi-jun Gou. "I like what I saw out there."
