Memphis pinch hitter Azregh Kamoga picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Peoria Caterpillars, 6-5. Memphis reliever Kirk Hunt picked up the win. Martin Mercier took the loss for Peoria. The Privateers now have a record of 59-54 with the win over Peoria.

Memphis got a clutch hit from Sammy Gillin. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Kamoga said.
