The Amarillo Armadillos picked up a win at Armadillos Park, downing the Cozumel Beaches, 5-2. On the mound for Amarillo was right-hander Nicolas Lambert, who played a pivotal role in the win. After today's action, Amarillo sits at 49-64, while Cozumel falls to 56-57.

Third Baseman Tyler Pate made an impact for Amarillo, when he swatted a 2-run home run off David Harkey in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Pate went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
