In a low-scoring contest between the Albuquerque Cacti and the Peoria Caterpillars, Sam Godfrey was the X factor. The Albuquerque right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Jack Anthony recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 6 for 6. The Cacti bumped their record to 61-51 with this win.

Travis Wharton helped out the Albuquerque cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

Godfrey said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
