In a tight contest at Golden Fleece Park, the Astoria Argonauts edged the Fort Worth Cats by the score of 11-10. Astoria designated hitter Won-keun Park, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Astoria reliever David Rios picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Ben Bower took the loss. The Argonauts, at 66-63, have now won 6 straight.
Adam Champagne struck a blow for the Argonauts in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run. It put his team ahead, 11-10. For the game, Champagne was 1-1 with a home run.
"The vibe's good," said Astoria manager Tom Robertson. "We've got to keep it going."
