Captains Take Nail-Biter Over Cats
The Tallahassee Captains battled the Fort Worth Cats into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Captains won it, finally, 10-7, in 10 innings. In the game, Tallahassee left fielder Brian Frazier belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Andy Gardner, now 4-4, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Tallahassee is now 72-57, Fort Worth 56-72.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Frazier hammered a 3-run home run to win it for Tallahassee.
