Nationals Finish Off Flash in 12
The Acadia Park Nationals withstood a good performance by Fairfield third baseman Jonah Burke to knock off Fairfield, 7-6, in 12 innings. Burke was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Terry Hearn in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Rafael Alfaro took the loss. With the win, Acadia Park goes to 38-70, while the Flash fall to 58-51.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 12th, an error by the Flash allowed the Nationals to score the winning run.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Nationals manager Bryan Blashill.
