Cacti Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Albuquerque turned a fine outing from starter Mark Tanner into a victory over the Calgary Cowboys at Cowboys Field. The final score was 5-2 in 10 innings. With the win over Calgary, the Cacti improved to 72-57.

Jason Forsythe came through with a big-time hit for Albuquerque. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"This team is doing whatever it takes to win," said Cacti manager Randy Haynes.
